Hourly Advice with Jill

If you need support with something that is not covered in our other services or guidance in a specific area, you can work with Jill on an hourly basis. With more than 30 years of guiding students and families, Jill brings a calm, seasoned, and strategic perspective to each student’s journey, offering thoughtful insight through the high school years and every facet of the college admissions process. Her passion for helping students and families combined with her deep understanding of how admissions offices evaluate applicants allows her to illuminate strengths that students may overlook and strengthen areas that require greater clarity. If you need general or specific guidance or a custom package of services, please contact us to work with Jill on an hourly basis. We can also combine other services and packages with hourly service with Jill.

Hourly service is by availability. Pricing available upon request.

Families have worked hourly with Jill on every aspect of high school and college counseling, including:​​​

 

  • One-on-on strategy sessions

  • “Am I on the right path?” discussions

  • High school coursework and additional support and resources

  • Standardized testing strategies

  • Assistance with Summer and Extracurricular planning

  • Strategies and guidance on presenting a student’s most compelling and authentic story

  • Brainstorming essay ideas

  • Interview preparation, including mock interviews

  • College visit strategies and demonstrating interest

  • Review and feedback of college list and programs

  • Early Decision/Early Action/Regular Decision strategy planning

  • Application review (outside of the Senior Application Review service)

  • Full or partial application guidance, including “crossing the finish line” with college applications that highlight student’s strengths with authenticity and convey student’s goals and story

  • Deferral or Waitlist review (outside of Deferral/Waitlist Analysis & Advisory service)

  • Transfer college assistance

  • Support in between services

  • Other specific aspects related to high school and college admissions counseling
