Jill will speak to parents of Garden City middle schoolers and high schoolers about the college application process and ways to reduce the stress often associated with the process.

3/15/19: Professional Development Day - Sewanhaka Central High School District

During a Professional Development Day, Jill will present to the counseling departments of five Long Island high schools. Topics include: college application process, admissions, application preparation, early action vs. early decision strategies, the college essay and how to write and prepare a college letter of recommendation.

3/12/19: Sacred Heart Academy

Jill will speak with parents of high school students about the college application process and ways students and families can reduce the stress often associated with the process.

12/12/18: Adria Learning Center

Jill will help students navigate their high school journey. She will give participants tools to reduce stress and make the college application process more transparent.

10/25/18: College Week at Martin Van Buren High School in Queens

As part of College Week at Martin Van Buren High School in Queens Village, Jill will speak with seniors about the college application process.

9/15/18: Online College Application Boot Camp

Jump start the application process with a college application boot camp!

In this 2-hour workshop, Jill will:

• Provide detailed recommendations of the Common App and Coalition platforms

• Explain differences between the Main Essay, "Why Supplements," Additional Info section, and other supplemental essays

• Showcase how to maximize the Activities and Honors sections

• Help brainstorm essay topics

• Discuss the importance of Demonstrating Interest

• Review Resumes, Zee Mee and more

• Teach students how to authentically increase their applications and chances at admission

• Allow time for personalized questions
